July 31, 2008 — Tracy L. Allen, a partner in Bodman’s Detroit office, has been selected to receive the State Bar of Michigan Alternative Dispute Resolution Section’s Distinguished Service Award.
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual, program, or entity that has made significant contributions to the field of dispute resolution.
Allen is an internationally-recognized expert in the area of alternative dispute resolution, having served as a neutral in matters involving high wealth, probate, taxation and business planning and succession. She has conducted mediations and arbitrations both domestically and internationally, including complex and multi-party cases. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America under ADR Law and is a past President of the International Academy of Mediators and of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Detroit.
Allen is active with many national and international professional organizations and serves as a Panel Member for the American Health Lawyers Association and for CPR-International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution.
