May 15, 2008 — Bodman associate Michelle A. Carter has been appointed to a two-year term on the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Council.
Carter was appointed to the Council by the Chair of the National Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. She will serve as the liaison between the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the ABA Young Lawyers Division.
The ABA Young Lawyers Division provides leadership in serving the public and the profession and promotes excellence and fulfillment in the practice of law. It facilitates and implements public and professional service programs on a national basis through more than 300 local affiliate organizations.
Carter represents clients involved in complex commercial litigation and in labor and employment law matters. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Rutgers-Camden School of Law. She serves on the governing boards of Volunteers of America-Michigan and the Rutgers-Camden School of Law Alumni Association.
