Greenhalgh Appointed to Albion College Board of Trustees

April 24, 2008 — Stephen I. Greenhalgh, a partner in Bodman LLP’s Detroit office, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Albion College.

Greenhalgh graduated from Albion College in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology. He earned his law degree from Washington & Lee University Law School in 1977.

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to serve Albion as a trustee,” Greenhalgh commented. “The College has been a big part of my life for almost 40 years. I look forward to doing all I can as a trustee to maintain and enhance Albion’s standing as one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges.”

Greenhalgh focuses his law practice in representing lenders in all types of commercial loan transactions, from the documentation of loan originations to loan workouts. He also has substantial experience in securities law matters, having represented issuers in connection with public and private offerings of both debt and equity securities, Exchange Act filings, and compliance matters.

Founded in 1835, Albion was the first private college in Michigan to have a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. It is currently ranked as a “Top 100” liberal arts college by U.S News and World Report and a “Best Value College” by the Princeton Review. Albion has an enrollment of almost 2,000 and offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.
