March 14, 2008 — Brian R. Trumbauer, a partner in Bodman’s Detroit office, was recently installed as co-chair of the Debtor-Creditor Section of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association.
Trumbauer also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and worked on the Rules Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee in drafting new local bankruptcy rules which are scheduled to take effect in May 2008.
Trumbauer focuses his practice in the area of debtor-creditor rights and bankruptcy, with particular emphasis on representing banks and other financial institutions in loan workouts, commercial bankruptcy cases and troubled credit situations. He has represented secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees, creditors’ committees and other interested parties in bankruptcy cases and debtor-creditor disputes.
