Brader Elected to Board of Directors of Women’s Caring Program

February 19, 2008 — Valerie J. M. Brader, an associate in Bodman’s Ann Arbor office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Women’s Caring Program.

Brader, a member of Bodman’s Business and Environmental Practice Groups, concentrates her practice in corporate organization, mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions. She is president of the Harvard Club of Eastern Michigan and a recipient of the Harvard College Women’s Leadership Award. Before joining Bodman Brader clerked for U.S. District Court Judge John Feikens.

The Women’s Caring Program is the only statewide organization in Michigan focused solely on funding quality childcare for low-income working families. The 501(c)(3) charity has donated more than $1.5 million toward the health and development of children in Michigan since it was founded in 1979.
