February 11, 2008 — Jerrold M. Bigelman, a partner in Bodman’s Detroit office, has been appointed to the Tax Advisory Committee of Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration.
Bigelman practices in the areas of income, estate and corporate taxation, estate planning, qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans, business organizations and reorganizations, and tax-exempt organizations. He is a former adjunct faculty member at Walsh College and at the University of Detroit-Mercy Law School where he taught courses in partnership and individual taxation, sales and exchanges, tax exempt organizations, and charitable giving. He holds a law degree from George Washington University Law School and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School.
Walsh College is Michigan’s largest graduate business school. The College, founded in 1922, offers upper-division undergraduate and graduate business and technology degree and certificate programs to 4,600 students at campuses in Troy, Novi, and Clinton Township, as well as online.
