Ms. Allen concentrates her practice in the areas of international and national dispute resolution and conflict management as a neutral. She also maintains a legal practice concentrated in representing high wealth individuals, estate planning, taxation and business planning/succession.
She has conducted mediations and arbitrations both domestically and internationally, including complex and multi-party cases. Her diverse caseload includes business disputes involving corporate, tax, employment, health, securities, estate planning and real estate law. Ms. Allen has mediated and arbitrated several disputes involving health care matters including licensing, physician privileges and insurance/regulatory matters. She has counseled and represented hundreds of corporations and business entities on personal and business-related issues as well as conflict management.
Ms. Allen serves as an advisor to the Michigan Supreme Court State Court Administrative Office in the design and implementation of court annexed dispute resolution programs, mediator training and professional standards. She has been appointed to and has served on specialized neutral and international mediation and arbitration panels. She has lectured to various groups and authored several articles dealing with ADR, conflict management, mediation and related topics.
