Mr. Fishman is the chairperson of the Workplace Law Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in labor law, employment litigation, construction labor law, and employee relations.
Mr. Fishman has conducted seminars for many management groups, including the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Society for Human Resource Management, American Management Association, Michigan Bankers Association, Michigan Municipal League, Michigan Association of CPAs, Health Care Association of Michigan, Telephone Association of Michigan, American Society of Employers, Michigan Home Health Association, Michigan Association of Realtors, and various regional and local chambers, human resource associations and private and public businesses.
Mr. Fishman is a contributing author to the annually-published book, The Development Labor Law, published by the Bureau of National Affairs. He writes a monthly column for employers in the Michigan Forward business magazine on management labor law, and is a featured writer on labor and employment topics for many publications.
Before joining Bodman, Mr. Fishman founded The Fishman Group, a local firm that specialized in labor law, employment litigation, and employee relations matters, representing management in the private and public sectors.
