Ms. Foley counsels clients primarily in matters regarding franchise law, antitrust, trademark, copyright, trade secrets and unfair competition law. She has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 corporate trademark owners and U.S. franchise trademark owners.
Ms. Foley has more than 25 years of experience both in private practice and state government. Before joining the Firm, Ms. Foley was a partner and manager of the Franchise practice group at several Michigan law firms. She has also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan, coordinating multi-district antitrust litigation and prosecuting antitrust, consumer protection, deceptive advertising and trade regulation civil cases.
Ms. Foley is a frequent author and speaker on topics related to franchise and trademark law.
Ms. Foley also served as president of the National Association of Women Lawyers (1996-97). She serves as a member of the Council of Delegates to the International Bar Association.
