Ms. Carter represents clients involved in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Carter also has experience with labor and employment law. She has counseled employers on various employment matters, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and claims involving sexual harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation and wrongful termination.
Before joining Bodman, Ms. Carter clerked for Hon. Theodore Z. Davis of the Superior Court of New Jersey, General Equity Division in Camden, New Jersey.
In law school, Ms. Carter served as vice president of the Black Law Students Association and as chair of the faculty appointments committee of the Student Bar Association. She also served as a student coach at the National Moot Court.
