Biography

Mr. Behrendt represents clients in complex litigation throughout the country. He has significant experience representing outdoor advertising and cable industries, particularly in issues concerning land use, First Amendment and other aspects of constitutional law, and issues of zoning at both the trial court level and in courts of appeal. He has also successfully handled various intellectual property matters relating to copyright and trademark infringement.

In law school, he participated in pro bono activities, including legal assistance to indigent clients and non-profit organizations. He was also associate editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.
