Mr. Prater specializes in real estate and real estate finance law. His real estate practice includes purchases and sales of real estate, acquiring easements, leasing and evictions, construction, and real and personal property taxes. Mr. Prater also represents banks in real estate finance matters, including structuring, documenting and negotiating land development, construction and mortgage loans.
Mr. Prater is also counsel for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit, representing the Archdiocese in a wide variety of matters involving real estate.
