Biography
Mr. Darke is a member of the Debtor-Creditor Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. He represents creditors, trustees, and other parties in a variety of commercial bankruptcy matters and debtor-creditor disputes.
Prior to joining Bodman, Mr. Darke practiced bankrupcy and debtor-creditor rights law in Detroit and Boston. His representation ranged from resolving troubled loans to initiating and defending preferential and fraudulent transfer actions. While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Darke served as managing editor for the Entertainment & Sports Law Journal. He also was selected for and participated in his law school’s competitive Trial Practice Institute. While pursing his LL.M., he completed a financial services internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Upon graduation, Mr. Darke received the A. John Serino Outstanding Graduate Banking Law Student Prize, which is “awarded to the student who displays outstanding overall performance, in terms of academic achievement and dedication to the highest standards of scholarship and service.”
