Mr. Stone is the chairperson of Bodman's Business Practice Group and concentrates his practice in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, and estate planning.

He currently serves as a director and trustee of numerous for profit and not for profit entities. Mr. Stone is an emeritus member of the Board of Visitors of Duke University Divinity School.

Mr. Stone is a member of the Detroit Historical Society and the John Hannah Society of Michigan State University.
